Roncato: Made in Italy Luggage and Travel Accessories

Roncato It is a leading Italian brand of excellence in the luggage industry. Valigeria Roncato Spa was founded in Campodarsego (PD) in 1973 based on an idea by Giovanni Roncato, who followed in the footsteps of his father, Antonio Roncato, an expert in the luggage industry since the 1940s. Giovanni is credited with the insight to apply assembly-line production to luggage manufacturing.

This decision—which was ahead of its time compared to European competitors—combined with a focus on “Made in Italy” style, enabled Roncato to become the world’s leading manufacturer of 24-hour suitcases in the 1970s.

Today, Roncato is one of the most important and well-known Italian fashion brands in the world, present on five continents and in over 100 countries, with a family-run tradition spanning three generations.

Attention to detail, product quality and style, the constant pursuit of innovation, and manufacturing excellence are the brand’s most defining values. These values are highlighted in the collections of luggage and travel accessories designed to best meet the needs of modern travelers. Roncato luggage is the ideal companion for any type of trip, from vacations to business trips. Roncato offers a wide selection of suitcases, backpacks, and travel accessories suitable for both leisure and business.

Roncato Product Features

The company is driven by a strong passion for design. All Roncato products are conceived and designed in Italy, using innovative, high-quality materials, to meet the needs of all travelers. The innovative spirit that has propelled the company Roncato toward international success is already evident in its earliest suitcase models: from the launch of the Sphera—the suitcase that moves with a single finger—in the early 1990s, to the Shuttle, the first vertical trolley, in the 2000s.

The company’s focus on research and development of new solutions is evidenced by the numerous patents obtained through the creation of new luggage lines and the introduction of new materials for production. Among others: polycarbonate, which ensures lightness, flexibility, and maximum impact resistance; and polypropylene, a 100% recyclable material that guarantees high impact resistance and is virtually indestructible.

Roncato Luggage Collections

The Roncato BOX line, made of polypropylene, stands out for its high strength and light weight. Available in a variety of colors, the BOX 4.0 version offers maximum versatility thanks to its expandable design, ensuring that travelers always have their belongings and clothing within easy reach on any type of trip.

The Roncato Joy Collection is designed with a spacious interior layout to make travel experiences even more comfortable. Available in 4 standard colors, the products in the “RoncatoJoy” line are expandable and feature a USB port for charging electronic devices on the suitcases, as well as an easily removable liquid pouch to speed up security checks at airports.
